How We Help

HiKent's head office is located in Brewer Street, Maidstone. Our other two centres are in Canterbury and Medway Maritime Hospital. Each centre has a range of assistive equipment available for demonstration if requested. This can be done by calling the centres and arranging an appointment with one of our trained staff members.

HiKent offers free hearing aid aftercare clinics in a range of locations across Kent. Clinic times vary and can be found by searching via your town, village or postcode in the box below and clicking on your nearest clinic. Our clinics are run by our volunteers and they will be able to change batteries, clean and re-tube hearing aids free of charge.

Our lipreading classes are also free of charge, anybody is welcome to attend if there is a place available and you can join at any time during the year. The classes can be found at many sites spread out across the county and are run by qualified lipreading tutors. If you wish to find out more about how lipreading can help you please telephone our Head Office on 01622 691151 or e-mail D.Jones@hikent.org.uk

Priority will be given to students with a hearing loss although hearing students are very welcome if there is room.

For classes denoted **Kent Adult Education**, these are run by the Kent Adult Education Service. Please contact them direct on 0845 6065606 or via Kent Adult Education website.
