Usual hours: 8.30am - 1pm and 2.00 - 4.30pm Monday to Thursday.
Appointments can be made but are not necessary.
The Medway Centre is located within the Audiology Unit at the Medway Maritime Hospital.
The Centre consists of a fully working equipment display area enabling visitors to test and try a wide range of assistive equipment, and a separate area for private interviews.
Working in full co-operation with the Audiology Department staff, Hi Kent will provide basic Hearing Aid Maintenance (Cleaning, re-tubing etc.), and replacement batteries).
The centre also provides a gateway to the full range of services offered by Hi Kent, including in-home assessments.
The Centre is staffed by:
Medway Services Manager, Linda Dray
and
Hi Centre Assistant, Susan Belcher.
Salaried staff are supported by a dedicated band of volunteers.
